PROJECT MANAGEMENT

We can manage your project from concept to production.  We work with clients to develop and refine product requirements, produce a design to meet those requirements, then document and specify the design for the manufacturer.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

We produce designs that stand up to the rigors of outdoor activities.  This means we can tackle thermal, impact, stress, and vibratory load challenges.  Our products often have to be portable, which has refined our miniaturization skills while developing the ability to produce pleasing form factors.  Our primary experience is with injection molded plastic and machined or stamped metal parts.

ELECTRONICS DESIGN

We deliver intelligent electronic designs with a focus on low power consumption for portability and sensor data analysis for product awareness and interaction.  At the core of most of our designs is a scalable microprocessor solution capable of interfacing with analog and digital sensors, RF and USB communications, and output drive circuitry.

SENSOR INTEGRATION

We bring experience with sensor technologies originally developed for the automotive and computer industries.  We've integrated accelerometers, thin membrane pressure sensors,  and photo detectors into a number of sporting good projects.  We also have experience with capacitive input arrays and, of course, a variety of analog and digital position sensing technologies.

RAPID PROTOTYPING

We have on-site mechanical and electronic prototyping facilities as well as an established network of specialty service vendors.  This enables us to quickly test new ideas and rapidly converge on product solutions.

From the outset of every project, we apply DFM principles to create highly manufacturable designs.  We incorporate vendor feedback early in the design process in order to minimize late stage design changes, enabling designs to be brought to market quickly and at the lowest possible cost.
